REVIEW OF DISCUSSION
This verse is Psalm is the same verse used is Matt 4:6 when Satan tempting Jesus outside the temple.
Examples of God's angels intervening in our daily lives.
-Commuting to and from work daily.
-Doctor's appointment-health-often take for granted though truly a provision from God.
-With family-brothers given favor in different legal situations.
-Grandpa diagnosed with throat cancer, but blessed that have had 80 previous healthy years.
-God putting people in our lives-angelic in discernment.
Faith becomes real when you can praise God through the good and bad news.
"Are you in harm's way? Do you feel alone? You are not alone; God has given His angels-personal heavenly bodyguards to protect you. More are fighting for you than against you." page 69
Paralyzing when you do not fully trust God. Don't let fear take over. Keeps you from doing what God has called you to do when you fear.
Sometimes, we need to claim God's truths before you are able to believe.
Sometimes we can be in the mode of waiting for the other shoe to drop. Can't live life in victim mode, waiting for something bad to happen. Missing out on the abundant life God has for us.
Think of people in your life that have joy even though everything around them is falling apart. Ro was such a great example of that. Even though her health was failing, and her head was fuzzy, she still had joy, still exemplified the love of God, despite her circumstances.
At the end of page 69, great illustration that angels will "guard you in all your ways." Comforting to know it is an active state-on guard, standing watch, over our protection. Talking about angels is a great reminder of how physical world oriented we are. We feel like we have to face the battles alone, but God has already fought the battle and ultimately won.
Faith is what releases this promise to work on our behalf. Need to be actively seeking
